Furniture Design

My primary passion in life is design.  I love creative problem solving, and finding beautifully simple solutions to complicated problems.  Originally educated as an Industrial Designer, I quickly found my way into the furniture industry and fell in love with the product.  There is no product closer to the human experience than the objects we interact with every day.

Engineering

My experience does not stop after the product has been designed.  I have engineered hundreds of products to production ready technical specifications.  I work directly with manufacturers all over the world to ensure my products are made exactly to the design intent.  I have experience working with a wide range of materials including but not limited to: wood, metal, glass, fabrics, upholstery, stone, and plastic.

Manufacturing

Several times in my career, I have stepped outside the design role to manage the manufacturing side of furniture making.  I have designed woodworking production facilities, managed a team of woodworkers, and developed processes and systems to deliver furniture to clients on time and under budget.
